Check out my new pieces on line this spring of 2018.  "Best Stuff on Earth" in the April 2018 issue of Spadina Literary Review, out of Toronto. A surgeon suffers self-doubt along with a huge headache on the train home after losing a patient, but awakens to a past joy that he stirs up in a muddy puddle on his walk from the station.

I started writing my essay, "Sudden Caregiver" when I realized I was one, after my Mom's fall. It appears in April in the Superstition Review.

Just blew in from Tampa, where huge numbers of writers milled around the edge of the bay.  I made new contacts, fired up about sending out more stories and essays, and finding a publisher for my novel "No One Runs in the Country."

Look me up on my website for more tidbits.  marylewiswriter.com
